I had one of those. One of the most dependable cars I've had.

 

Any street, U.S.A. circa 1965. I'm a bowtie guy for the most part, but any flavor tuff lookin' street cleaner of the era really gets my attention. This one's got the look. Thanks for posting Glen.

Yup, dragging it up nfrom the past but stumbled on someone posting a pic of my old car.

This was kind of my era, but I don't remember so many ugly cars.

 

"Kustoms" went off the rails in the 60's. It's more a 50's thing, 60's cars just didn't fit 50's trends of "customizing".
My thing (as a kid ) was mostly drag cars and more finished T's and Model A's. Plus new cars and misc. other race cars.
Like these.

 

And of course, tri five Chevies. You could buy a 55 for a couple hundred. Bought a 56 with a friend for 25 bucks!
