It's the 48th annual Motor City Cars & Parts swap meet this Sunday Dec 2 at the Toronto International Center. Long range weather forecast looks really good. Probably one of the best swap meets in Ontario with lots of good parts to be had. I'll be there with Hightower611 and Deuceman32 and we are bringing a truckload of early Ford vintage parts to sell. Who's planning to attend?

I just got word that i can take the mrs on a mystery date. She will be suprised at where we are going :-D

We will be there looking for Dennis (Mrs Auga's husband)

Ps I told her what I was up to and she requested a pit stop at IKEA.

  9. Just found out we have other plans for that day. It's a 7-8 hour drive one way, so I just can't drop by for a bit. Thought we'd go down Saturday, visit relatives in K-W area, shop on Sunday, then come home. Oh well. Good luck to the sellers and buyers. Next year.

  10. What a good bunch of Mrs. We have !!!
Take mine to the unfinished nationals in Paris On for the start of our Honeymoon .

Hey dodgedifferent2, you must have Dodge fever! Mississauga is a part of Toronto!!! Thanks for posting a copy of the flyer for the swap meet, with the information about the swap. Weather for Sunday is mild and maybe rain, but still should be good for travelling.

That must be a huge event! Maybe a pic or two later?:)

  20. I was in Toronto on Thursday at 4pm. Middleton, New Brunswick at 4:30pm Friday, and back in Toronto by 9:30pm Saturday.

You had plenty of time to make it to the swap ;)

A lot of flathead stuff is a good thing!!! Crowds were down in numbers this year and people weren't spending like they did in previous years. At least there were good parts there and not like some swap meets that you go to where there is nothing to buy and the trip was a complete waste of time.
