"Permanently moved to Elgin Park." Sorry to hear this; didn't know he had such a sad backstory: https://www.hemmings.com/blog/2018/...rk-at-age-67/comment-page-1/#comment-10605290
He found a way of tempering the not so fulfilling growing up. As an artist I find a connection to his fitting models into photos and my Photoshopping imagery within other images. Easier said than done. He certainly was a great modeler. May He Rest in Peace and condolences to his family and friends on his passing. Thanks for sharing this @Chrisbcritter Regards, Stogy
Such sad news. His work was incredible. Looking at his dioramas made you feel like you were part of them. Godspeed to you Mr. Smith.
Godspeed Mr. Smith. His comment about being bullied makes me recall some of the times I followed the crowd and bullied or even just taunted classmates BITD. Not my proudest moments and one of my greatest regrets.
The good that we do does remain for others to enjoy. You accomplished your mission,Mr. Smith. Thanks you.
Elgin Park looks a lot like how I envision heaven looks like. Sent from my SM-T350 using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
The man was a master at manipulating the eye, some of his diorama's made me question what I was actually seeing, his attention to detail was second to none. My condolences to his family and thousands of followers. HRP
