Late 1946 Ford Coupe rear tailpan repair (9" rolled pan, no toolbox). Old metal was heavily modified and severely rusted. I'm repairing it with an EMS stamping (http://emsautomotive.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=18_60&product_id=94)

I'm hoping someone might have pictures of a stock pan with the internal bracing still intact so I can see how to re-create that bracing. I'm also curious if the pinch-weld lip was left in place after Ford deleted the toolbox or if this was trimmed off during production...if so, did they do anything with the cut edge (roll, fold, etc.)

    Any guidance is sincerely appreciated.

    Many thanks!

I think the full roll pan only came with the toolbox. The later ones without the toolbox were cut off. But I would do the full roll pan and Remove the bumper, that looks awesome. Then you also need to build a rock guard for it. Hope this helps.
