IMG_3633.JPG How about posting your vintage tin photos like they had in the early 70's rod magazines. Remember those? Model t's, a's, '32 to '40 to newer models. Don't have to be Ford. Non running project finds as found as well. Share what you have and tell a story if you wish.

I bought these parts off Craigslist about 10 years ago. Near Shawnee, Ok $1400

2016 - this sold for $2500 off of Craigslist. One of my fellow car club members bought it in East Texas. They are still out there. The body is sold so maybe it will be saved!!

This unfinished project came from Waco, Tx 10 years ago. Built by a WWII vet. We are not sure if it was going to be a drag car, a dirt track car, or a modified for street driving. The workmanship is outstanding. The modified '27T body looks to be very old and to predate this project. It remains a mystery who built it. It looks like a early dry lakes modified body.

I had just sold this in 1998 to Charlie "Deuce" Duran. Charlie you may know from the Deuces Limited and the Deuce Reunion in Texas every year. He put some more sheet metal on it and sold it to some one in California I believe. Anybody recognize it? It needed some work but was straight and solid. Sometimes the early bird does not get all the finds at swap meets. I bought the body and doors and decklid for $500 late on Saturday at the Pate Swap Meet in 1996. This was before mig and tig welders became so available.

Dago88 - I bet that was a real challenge to rescue. The cactus don't look to friendly. Was that Malta as in the island of Malta?

Yes KKrod, that is a fairly old pic . A friend of mine has a restoration shop in Malta & he saved it & is building a hiboy roadster from it. :)

Here's one from a 1980 Old Car's Illustrated magazine. Hershey swap meet. How much do you think it would go for now if you could even find a comparable one?

  30. I spotted this old Chevy pickup Friday. I had to turn around and take a few pictures. I didn't ask about it. Because I need to stop dragging them home. 20181123_164111.jpeg 20181123_164027.jpeg 20181123_164041.jpeg
