    Why another project.. ?
Just Happened to find an Engine..!
"You know I got these 47 brakes lying around for a while" ..let's do it.
    (rear brake lines in)
You're Correct - The Rears are up side down!...clears the spring.
The Fronts are tilted back about 30° ish....
AND we're going 12V --- using an Austin positive gnd. Generator...(looks cool)
Original starter should be OK w. 12V...?

I never tried it with 6v, but it turns over real well with 12. No problems with starting.

Just found out that I have:
1939 - 1942 backing plates in the rear.
1946 - 1948 backing plates in the front.
Wheel Cylinders, Springs, Drums = the same.
    Shoes & Hardware = Different.

Smoke fix...I'm thinking of installing a PCV valve using the windshield wiper port on the intake - with a bleed valve on the opposite side of the block so it doesn't suck the end seals dry...just gets the smoke out... if that project doesn't work i might have to work on the Rings..?

Till now I've always done mostly 99.9% of all work myself at my garage.
(Not forgetting my buddies that helped tow cars, lift out / in engines etc.!!!)
Since I got a 7-4 to go to everyday . And other things to do it's hard the get $#!+ done sometimes
Bondo helped me out a bunch with the sedan!.. Would have taken a lot longer on my own.
& It was fun to have someone that knows what Hellsinki they're doing to but head and work with.
    Thanks Buddy!

    + One's a lot easier / faster to build!!!
