  5. Busted Kerry, :p:D. Some of these old photo,s can be decieving. Big deal. It,s an old car in an old photo. Thats the main thing. What you see is that #23 is actually a 1934 / 1937 Citroen convertible :cool:. See the hood side vents. Now as a matter of interest these Front Wheel Drive convertibles fetch more money these days than any 1934 Ford convertible will ever get.

As a kid , I would get my bike tires air here . This station was torn down in 1967 and replace with a Nice 3 Bay Rancher Shell. This was Richmond Va , Libbie avenue side facing Patterson Ave st rt hwy 6 about 1962

The first shot looks like George Snider at the Indiana State Fairgrounds in 1971. That was the first year of the USAC National Dirt Track Championship (later called Silver Crown) and Snider was the champion. The car dates back to 1962 starting with Rodger Ward, Johnny Rutherford, Mike Mosely, and probably others before Snider. The car still exists and I believe is in a private collection in Corona, California.

The second shot is of Bobby Grim in the Leader Car Wynn's roadster. I think the track is Trenton in 1965.
