  3. Sometimes I've been able to make out the name of a street or a business name & address on one of these photos and I'll do "Google Street View" hoping to match it up just to see how much that it has changed or if I can recognize the buildings. 90% of the time I'm really disappointed to see that they've bulldozed the buildings and replaced them with "big box" stores or a CVS Pharmacy, the women and the men have gotten fatter, the cars and trucks are all imports or boring SUVs, the interesting advertising signs have all been replaced with the "aluminum box with the bubble" type of sign....

  6. It was more likely to have just been a PHASE you were going through but as long as you were not FAZED by it don't worry too much.

  7. Going by the look of the railway wagons - 19th century four wheelers - this is the English factory. Manchester?

Thanks hotrd32 ! Dover was in New York. Here are two shots from 1961-62, Ted Abbott in Helzapoppin now restored and running, and the Sneeky Pet Robinson rail. I could post more. Bob DSCF8621.JPG DSCF8622.JPG

Later shots of this '32 Roadster note the body rot on the bottom I'm using to ID it. Roll bar brace , 11 kill stickers on the cowl, and $900.00 For Sale sign on the door.….. On second thought maybe the bright red paint job was applied by the new owner who shoved the engine back? Bob DSCF8625.JPG DSCF8623.JPG DSCF8624.JPG

  22. With a magnifying glass you can just see the Ford script on the 'T' in the left of the photo starts with a bigger letter than the 4th letter. So it must be an F. Reverse photo would have the last letter as larger than the others.

That's a bunch of great pictures. The kind where there's a lot of interesting cars in the backgrounds to get lost looking at. Someone knew how to run a camera back then.
