Been finally getting some work done on my coupe. I have neglected it for a long time. With the Help of Luke Dechurchio

I got the engine back together last night. Sounds pretty cool..

I raised the front end about 6 inches. I would like to put a model A axle under it.. I have some new slicks for the back coming and with throw on some kidney beans in the rear. Dropped the rear 6"
Put on 18" spindle mounts in the front too

I am waiting for some banjo fittings and will try to finish up a 6x2 setup instead of 3x2 ..

Still NEED the Rad and Grille back on it

Don't take this wrong, but you need much smaller headlights for a gasser.

    nice car!

Yea I still have to get the grille back on it. I don't want to completely change the car over. . I am just going to run it around the summer like this. I might pull the lights off for the races..

Believe me its hard enough. I have been putting in about 60-70 hours a week at my day job..

here it is with the grille back on!!

Model A altered........I like it! The spindle mount wheels have no way to mount brakes that I have ever seen.

I am trying to decide if I should put any worn lettering on the doors before then?

    What do you guys think??

  14. that thing looks like a tank w/ all that bare metal.

    awesome

  15. I like it! But I think the lights look out of place...

I can't wait to see it race!

That car is tits, but the headlights don't look right IMO. Leave em off until it gets dark.

    Wow man.. that is awesome.

PLEASE NO! Just my worthless opinion, but that's getting to be way overdone these days. Fresh lettering, sure, that's one thing, but please don't artificially weather it!

  22. Lettering might be to much, and clutter up the simple badassness of the car!

It rules the way it is!!!

Thanks for the opinion on the lettering. You guys are right..

Why try to make it look like something its not. Run it the way it is.

I have enough other things to do.. IT would be too much..

Thanks I can't wait to run it with a set of slicks!!!
Its not going to be that fast I don't think. PLus running in Palmdale is pretty high above sea level!!

Should be fun though. Thanks again for all the comments

No way I would unchannel it. I just as well build another car for that.

I will change the axle when I find one cheap. These are all parts I have collected cheap over the past few years or made for the car. No $1500 ebay mag wheels

This is my car I drive on the Steet. . I have put over 20,000 miles on my coupe in the past couple of years..

I am just making a few quick changes for this summer. . I like being able to change the look of the car.

I had that in mine when I build the car. I can adjust the rear suspension 8"

I can pull the body off and have a complete drivable chassis in less than an hour. I have every part of the car easy to get to and change.

I just wanted to have a little fun and have a different look for this summer. .

Don't want to do a complete different car!! Thats Why I have the roadster project now...

    Slicks just came in today!!
