Folks Of Interest 33-34 deck lid measurements needed

Not sure the deck lid I have is 33-34 coupe. Anybody have a known good one they could measure? I sure would appreciate it.

 

Pete, I hope you get an answer. I would like to know as well.

Think maybe you could find a deminsion on SAR, Bob Drake or even Wescott? My initial reaction is the arch on the sides is too far to the rear. TW

Call Eli, he has my car up there, and the decklid is perfect.
He's not on here too much anymore.

 

32" top to bottom. 38.25" across top,38" across bottom. Best i can do. Hope that helps

 

32" top to bottom, 38" at the bottom width, 38.25" wide at top. Not sure why Henry needed an extra 1/4 inch at the top, but mine measures the same as bangngears.

Pete, I have a SAR lid. 38 3/8ths top side to side. 38 bottom side to side. Top to bottom on each side
30 3/8ths. Middle top to bottom 32 1/4. Just for giggles I measured top to bottom in a straight line and that is 30 3/8ths. Tom

Soooo you using that thing or what? Some of us have crude homemade decklids made from 40 ford roof sections on our coupes.

Vw bug roof might be easier to find than a 40 roof. One old post on another site said the Vw bug roof will work on 33/34 if you lay the pattern so that the top of the lid is at one side of the roof, and the bottom of lid is the other side of the bug roof.

It seemed odd to face the pattern like that, but that guy made a wooden templates to prove it can work.
