No bad dream...they do have something available does that ...but that's where it ends for me ... I just know a friend of mine , that was a master modeler , used some stuff that did what your talking about but I never got a name.... I know he used it for masking the chrome trim , stainless, like around the windows and side trim moldings also interior parts then after the body or what ever was finished being painted then he would peel the stuff off then it would be all ready to apply the foil on all the trim.... doesn't really help you ....other than now you know your not on a bad trip....man them were the days ....back when you could be building a model with the good glue , before the non-toxic stuff came out , take a trip and not even leave the room........of course it was properly named...have some sitting on my desk now...and no...the lid stays on.... Thanks guys! I don't know where to do it. Would it be o.k. to do it here or someplace else? I'm not a computer guy at all, so I'm kinda on the slow side when it comes to this stuff.

Step by step pictures on how you do rust out & the products you use , if it is not too much to ask, would be great . Thanks, Ed.

The other night I ran across the last two models I have from way back when.
This Monogram Chaparral is one, from '66 (?).

I believe the stuff that you're thinking of is called liquid frisket. It's readily available online.

They look great! I love the wide whites & normal size wheels! :D I can't stand the all wheel no tire look.
