Motion Pictures Should You Have Kept It?

I've had serveral, people say they were nice... Then you move on to a new project and they tell ya how kool the 1 was you sold.... Why didn't anybody say that to me earlier. Onwards to hopefully something better. As we hopefully learn from our mistakes.

I do miss these three. But you can't keep them all. For the most part, I've been able to hang on to the important ones also. But my 38 Chevy coupe, 37 Dodge coupe, and my wife's 69, {sorry o.t.} Camaro, had to go. The camaro was a black on black factory SS 396ci. 375bhp with a 4 speed. I got it for my wife to drive to high school. lol Our budget back then, { Life } wouldn't let us to keep them. It's always hard to see them leave. Ron....

 

Every car I had in High School. Mostly the 38 Chevy 4 door I got for $15 and flipped for $25. And my 33 Packard daily driver during my junior year. I guess the 34 Ford 3 window would have been a good one to keep also. And I did keep my 31 American Austin until 65. When I bought this 32 for $75. Kept it until 98. Set a couple Bonneville records with it. Sold it for $4000 without the engine. Might be worth more now.

 

should have kept my 1st car, bought in sept 1970 for $1000, ot 66 chevelle malibu sport coupe in aztec bronze & beige vinyl top, sport coupes had the ss interior with bucket seats, console & gauges...NOW I REALIZE HOW RARE THIS MODEL IS...had 327 4bbl, 4-speed, posi...similar car pictured is a ss396 with same color combo & interior, but not it.

 

also my 1st 40 Ford Standard 2dr sedan bought in 1971 for $200, 283, 3-speed on floor, rebuilt the engine, changed to a 4-spd, went to a 3" dropped tube axle, never got it road worthy, a friend had a very nice 40 tudor with a 409 & hand painted flames that I drooled over, his son found the car & bought it back about 10 yrs ago. another friend had a blk 34 Plym sedan w/ red/wht tuck & roll so when I bought another 40 in 2008, I decided to build a mix of these three of them. mine was the yellow/primer one, friends was the blk deluxe, my current car is the flamed standard, 305sbc, 700r4, vintage air, pwr windows.

 

My second car, A 66 Grand Prix I bought from Grandma down the street. 421 HO Tri Power with factory cast iron headers Posi and 323 gears . Loaded with options I never seen before. Thats me in 73 !

 

My T Bucket was a fun car, don't know if I would fit in it any more but it was definitely a mid 80's build.

 

Traded my '58 for a Camaro. Gave the Camaro to my girlfriend. Girlfriend dumped me. End of that story.
