Hi y’all, I’ve been looking every where but I cannot find anything about my wheels they are American Racing Equipment torque thrust 14 by 7 and rears are by 8. It’s the centre caps that have me rooted. I have made a fair amount of searches but no joy. Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
do they say American Torque thrust on the backside? as far as I know all the old Americans have caps that are held on with 5 screws.
Yeh nah, they do say aAmerican Racing Equipment on the back Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Since we are talkin' T-70's here....I have a single 15x7 with Ford 4-1/2" pattern.....anybody got a mate for it?
Maybe; but not new that way. Looks like two different drilling procedures. If using a shoulder lug nut like a unilug application, should be fine.
Hey fellas, yeh there uni lugs and no other writing on the back so there’s no “aluminium “ on there so I am assuming mine are magnesium, I will test to confirm. These were bought thinking they were Torque Thrust’s, so I will have to have a look at the add that I bought them off as I am not sure now how they were advertised Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Any chance of what decade these were made? The writing is facing the other way and the lettering is smaller Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Do those have the special washers that drop in the front side, like the ETs? The rear side clearly does have the provisions to be unilug, but looks like the original bolt pattern was later manipulated to another pattern.
Yep sure are egged out , but that’s ok we fix, once I make a flange to suite my drums and the centre bore of the wheel, mounting the wheel will self centre itself and the washers fit flush to the wheel then tidy up the lug wholes and I’ll be down with that. Lucked into them for $20 per pair. N.I.B. What I need is a pair of 15 x 6 or 7 Fronts, Chevy bolt pattern.
"The writing is facing the other way and the lettering is smaller" Well duh, that's because you are in the Southern Hemisphere.
