    If you haven't already done so, go to the Hudson-Essex-Terraplane "open forum" and reach out to Geoff C. It seems like he knows more about these cars than anybody should be allowed to.

  2. It shouldn't be too difficult to reproduce the heat riser in steel if you want it to look correct. I've seen a brass/copper tube used for the inner sleeve when repairing a similar heat riser from a Buick, which I imagine would last near indefinitely.

    So is that one valve in the cylinder head, and one in the engine block???
