My bud and I went to the Petersen in 97, went through here looking for a place to eat, stopped at some little street vendor, got in line and one dude says "you should get your chicken and move on.......briskly".

This is Francis Lebeda's 1935 Ford coupe from Cedar Rapids Iowa. It was in Hot Rod Magazine in 1958. The car did not change much when Francis still owned it in 1968. But after he sold it it, it was "street rodded" and showed up in magazines for sale in Ohio in 1997 and at a car show in Michigan 1999.

 

She was an old friend of my mothers and often visited my parents home. I was about 7 or 8 the last time I saw her. I was sure she was not the witch because she did not have a green face and did not sound like the witch in the movie. So she told me if I wanted proof she would use her witch voice while she was visiting. So after a couple of days I had forgot all about it. The last night she came up to my bedroom after I had gone to bed. She used a flashlight under her chin and cackled and spoke her line "now my little lovelies". I was so scared I actually peed my pajamas!. I had nightmares for years after. For a long time I had to have a light on when I went to bed.
