Got two, feel very lucky to have two, matter of fact, feel lucky to have one. Poor as a churchmouse when I was a kid, dreamed of owning a hiboy, never thought it would happen. Yup, own two, had to build them, but it happened. DSC07207.JPG DSC07102.JPG

  4. Hi my name is Ron, and I to have an addiction. I'm also sentimental too, a bad combination. I still have my O.T. 68 Vette,I had since high school, and a O.T. 1967 Bonneville conv. that my dad bought new. As for HAMB friendly Rods. A 1929 model A coupe, with a { 389 Pontiac }. A 30 model A sedan with a { 354 HEMI }. A 1934 Dodge Sedan Delivery with a{ 350 Chevy }. And a 1956 Chevy Nomad with a {327 Chevy}. Also a current and long term project, a 1926 T coupe with a { 500 Caddy }. That's also not counting my little junkyard. I really need to join the AAA as in {Always Another A};)

@Ron Funkhouser , On a scale from 1 to 10, where 1 is "I consider myself a car guy" and 10 is "I'm an uncontrollable addict", I would put you at a 13, Certifiable Hoarder of all cool things car related! You and Moriarty, he might even be a 14.

I would prescribe a 12 step program but clearly you two are on a different flight of stairs than most. Don't go changin.

My wife would say WAY to many! Where do I start ? I will exclude post ‘64’s and stockers... 1930 std roadster , Dad bought in ‘48 only a rod due to Winfield cam and 35’ wires. ‘31 coupe , z’ed frame , was early 60’s Olds power drag car , ran with 294” Chevy from ‘70-‘80, Orange ‘32 3W real late ‘50s to early ‘60s wedge channel rod , ‘32 pickup, chopped and channeled bought for $75.00 when I was a kid (in a million pieces), ‘36 pickup old ‘60s rod w/327/350 horse in her, ‘38 pickup bought for $45.00 when I was a kid ( built up and blew up 7 Flattys in her from ‘71- ‘82), ‘52 Customline 2dr, bought for $100.00 when I was a kid (built up and blew up 3 Flattys in her from ‘69-‘84), ‘57 Chev 2dr h-top with 427”4spd , she’s a primer rat, ‘64 Vette coupe 327/365 horse , a real fun one...like my signature line says...

  10. YOU WIN, MARK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:D;)

  11. Well what you would consider to be non essential modes of transportation, I have 4 plus an old Harley (plus mini bikes, go carts, vintage bikes etc) and for some reason look every darn day for something else I don't need.
I don't dare buy a lift because I know very well I'd have another in there, like this super cool tilt body center steer model A coupe I seen a couple days ago..lol

Dude, you need therapy. Actually, I would be in the same place if the wife didn't keep me in check.

1 39 Dodge pickup I just bought plates for today, and 1 48 Plymouth. Then there are 2 +25 year old trucks and my wife's 04 car. I really am cleaning up, the only project still here is my son's parts car. There is actually grass growing over in the side yard! Gene

1 and only one. Really don't care about having more than my 40. However that hasn't always been true , had 7 at one time . Later Bill

  17. Too many for the area I'm in (8 plus a parts car)...but calling all of them either a hot rod or custom is a stretch (some are stockish or slightly modified). All 1960 and below.

Two builds possibly 3 that are HAMB Friendly. Hopefully getting a 1934 Dodge I found. Building two 1936's when my building is put up.

2 non HAMB friendly cars. One 1969 Valiant with a slant six on steroids. And a 1968 Barracuda 383 Formula S...

At present just the 27 T. Bought it off a good friend whose brother built it . Everything new. He has health issues so I decided to help out which I guess means I am an old softy. Now my Dad he has always had a collection though he is starting to think the herd which is a major shift. Though what I would really prefer is to get an early Econoline pick up, Falcon or Chevy 2 . Have 4 ot's and the 27. I only really need one hamb friendly to keep me happy. Vintage parts collecting is my real down fall.:)
