There was a company called Waddington from Australia that made very nice recessed replacement firewalls for 1933-34 Fords. They, at one time, were sold by C. W. Moss, but no longer. Does anyone know if these are still available from anyone in the US? Are there any other companies which someone can recommend? Thanks in advance. James
It turns out that Waddington firewalls are no longer manufactured. There is a company called Bitchen- Absolute sheet metal who now market recessed replacement 33-34 firewalls. Has anyone had any experience with them?
Direct Sheet metal also has replacement firewalls. http://directsheetmetal.com/Store/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=1_7&sort=20a&page=3
a great seller for me has been '35-'36 truck firewalls... the look very similar and are 4" shallower... '37 to '39 trucks are the same size but have a built in battery box... I have a '39 = pic
34 ford 3 by general gow, on Flickr i used a stock upper half, and the lower half of a 35-36 truck. made lots of room to work with for a y-block conversion. the truck firewall looks stock, but is a lot cheaper and easier to find than a stock 33-4 firewall.
