That is great! I understand about not being to hot rod much. Last summer was all about buying a house and moving. this summer has been better. let me know your plans when you are headed down. I am planning on driving my coupe down there on Thursday morning.

  2. We'll leave after I get off from work on that Thursday and then drive all the way to the Wooly Mammoth parking area where the reliability run starts. Generally don't get there till about midnight or 1 in the morning so we just sleep in the car.

Yes that’s a ‘49 100% complete 256 Flathead with overdrive. My dad bought it back when I was a kid, for my grandfather, but he wouldn’t give up his 47 Chevy. So it sat here here on the ranch.
Got paid to haul the ‘50 off years ago . It’s just a body and frame. The hood is on the 36 Ford truck parked next to it.

The picture of the merc is a 50 unless someone put a 50 grill into a 49.

  12. [IMG][IMG][IMG]. Saw this nice little T coupe today. It may possibly be for sale in the not too distant future.

Its amazing that there is still so much old iron out there. When I was a kid in S.D. the state put down salt on the roads in the winter and I'm sure it played havoc on lots of cars.

  20. Hey you’re in my office. I see that sign on a multi daily basis. Was that car in the BOP family? I can’t make out what it is.
