Hot Rods Splicing Radiator Hose with out Clamps?

What is the best way splice radiator hose with out using clamps? Thanks for all the replies.

Use those sporty heat shrink connectors like the OEM guys use.

 

Not sure it can be done but you probably need to install an inner metal connector also.

The hose outside dia. is about 2 1/8"

 

Make it out of steel or Stainless and weld it.
How about those corrugated flex pipes on flatheads?

The inner sleeve really needs to be a hose barb, not smooth. You're probably gonna spend more on a barb & clamp than just getting the right length hose. Jack E/NJ

 

Simple, just don't put any coolant in it. Push it off the trailer, into the parking spot at the car show.

 

Those are good for one time use, then good luck getting one off without cutting the hose underneath. Had to change out a waterpump that had those on the hoses, wanted to keep the hoses as they were good. Ended up slicing into the hose a bit, luckily there was enough left past the barb to seal up.
