  1. A few shots from the weekend.

Rick Bonenberger came over to a chili party, in St Peters, MO, in his Joe Bailon built '40 convert. Such a cool car!

On the way home from the chili party weekend, I stopped for a couple of photos.

That black convertible is a true representation of a '40 Ford in the '50s-'60s.

That sedan reminds me of my first 40 Ford! One of those I wish I had not sold. Had to sell it to buy my first 40 coupe though.....so I guess I can live with that decision....

Bought the 40 from a older fella that had owned it since 1965 and kept in his garage. It hadn’t been run for several years but he had intentions of restoring it one day. Age caught up with him (90) and he realized it was never going to happen. I bought it a couple months ago and plan on making it safe and road worthy mechanically but doing nothing to the body or interior.

It is good he passed it along to you while he was able to make the decision on who would buy the car.It looks like it will be fun car for you to enjoy working on and driving. Thanks for sharing the info.

  16. ....................Can't take credit for the picture, Andy. Just found it somewhere in coverage from Jalopyrama 5. Might have been Lyle or Mike before they started watermarking their photos.

Beautiful 38 degree day in Hernando !! Stopped at Velvet Cream ( aka The Dip to locals) , The oldest restaurant in Desoto Co Ms since 1949. Today marks the 198 day I have driven Lil Red this year , should easily reach my goal of 200 days for the year. Haven't really been any where special just daily use , errands, cruise ins , couple of shows etc . Later Bill

This makes me sad. Winter can be a bitch up north I know. We can still break outa the garage down here in the South on occasion but there isn't much happening.

Wanted to put this on the delivery panel truck thread but it seems to be on lock down so I guess this is a good place for it. 46974009_10214577172207244_4466021485324009472_o.jpeg
