Here are some pics that I took at the SCTA World Finals 2018 at the Bonneville salt flats. Enjoy. My daughter and I were hanging out with the White Goose Bar Race Team, so most pics are centered around the Nebulous Theorem III streamliner and their VW truck. I included pics of the Vesco Turbinator which made a 503 mph pass before the Nebulous Theorem III ran 409 mph. Both were recorded setting runs, but the rain kept both teams from making back-up runs. The event only ran one day since we kept getting rain, but 1/2" of rain covering that expanse of salt is an amazing sight to see, so I included pics of that as well. Ask questions if you wonder what any pics show.

Cool - must be very frustrating to be shut down by weather - but, just have to make plans for next chance to run

This was the time slip from Rick Yacoucci's pass in the Nebulous Theorem III. 409.421 mph with a small block Chevy on gas is mind boggling!

This is an example of what they mean when they say "kids, don't try this at home". 46483253_2485423581473942_2983081234927714304_n.jpg

I guess it could also be an object lesson Build a sturdy drivers compartment. And also Never underestimate the value of very sturdy body panels around the tires.
