Thank you Tom (@wide34). I especially liked the paint on that one. Many more to come, including one of your truck.

Thanks for your generosity. Those pics don't post (or take) themselves.

  17. Just one great pic after another!! Dan, that green Ford 2dr is a '29, I believe, from TX. It was in Jalopyrama a few years ago and was a R&C cover car, also, if I remember right. I can't recall the owner's name though.

Thanks Wayne. I have photographed that one for years - it seems to turn up everywhere - and have always loved it. Finally met the owner this time but damned if I can remember his name. I haven't been adding the car description or name to my posts unless I know both or, in some cases, if it is an unusual enough car. This show had a lot of great photo opps, especially on the cruise the day before and downtown party the night before.

Is this Randy or Deedee? Either way, I have more coming of your car. Great getting to meet and hang out with you as well.

You're welcome @26hotrod. I definitely have more of that T coming, but it will take a day or so.

  25. I'm kinda partial to that green "A" sedan, myself. It's a great build and color combo. You captured it all.

It is a super attractive car Wayne (@Bowtie Coupe ). It usually is in a place where I can't get a worthy picture of it.

This is the very cool interior of a beautiful candy apple green '51 Merc that I cannot show you because it is a member of what I now call the Wrong Wheelers Car Club. In other words, a car that if it had more traditional wheels instead of modern billets, it would be acceptable here on the HAMB. This one had a really nice flathead and a nice dash too. There were a lot of members of the Wrong Wheelers at this event so sadly I can't post them here but they will be on Facebook and in my PBase gallery,

    I admire your discretion. "Wrong-Wheelers"... that's good!

  28. I know what you mean about getting a worthy pic. I'm usually on the show floor at O'dark-thirty to get some good shots without anyone around, but sometimes you still can't get that better shot becuz your subject car is in juxtaposition with another car or object that just detracts from your planned shot.

It's too bad about that Merc. The interior looks great. It wud be so easy to change/fix the wheels. Some folks just don't "get it." I really don't like criticizing other people's cars as it's different strokes for different folks. But, when you build a traditional type car with late model, non-traditional wheels, it boggles the mind.

Thanks @Shutter Speed. And Wayne (@Bowtie Coupe) , you are correct about how easy it would be to make it HAMB compatible. But it is the owner's choice and likes. There were a lot of cars like this. I would loved to have posted this car (http://www.pbase.com/dlgphoto/image/168347243/original) - so beautiful! I didn't get a chance to look at the interior and it may have been way too modern. No tellin..
