.......here's an old shot of Ivo's multi engine rail job from Sparta Dragway early 60's I believe, thought you guys might enjoy it..........again IGOR thanks for sharing those great pic's!!!

 

The overhead shot was taken at the hotel from the second story balcony, they had pulled the engine with a chainfall attached to the balcony and rebuilt it in the room using the bathtub for the parts washer..

this is why I take as many pics as I can at events today. think how cool it would be if your pop had taken 100 pictures everywhere he went? that would be something.

 

I can't wait to see if anyone has info on this thing. That intake is super crazy. It's like a show-boating drag car. I love it and wonder how well it worked.......slim

 

Very cool pics. I raced at Cecil County Dragway, Rising Sun, MD, once. It don't look like that anymore.

 

Someone out there has to know something about this thing.

That was Eddie Sanzo's 41 Willy's. He ran it out of Merkel's shop.

 

Mr. C was owned by Joe Phipps. The engines were built and it was driven by Fred Forkner. Fred owned Atlantic Speed Center in Wilmington, De.
