Technical Lighted Welding Helmet, cheapo !

    I finally added a light to my welding helmet.
    Why the hell did it take me so long to do this?!
    The button is on the bottom of the inline switch. I just tap the switch with my gloved hand to turn it on, off or adjust the mode.
    The battery holder doesn’t get in the way of my Mellon either.
    It is an Atomic Beam if anyone is interested.

    For what it's worth, I still use a non auto darkening helmet. But the shield I use is an "Omni". It has a gold tint to the outside, and you can see much more color with it. I love that versus the "black and white", well, "green and white", of a regular shield. I gave one to my (late) friend, and he said that was the best favor I had ever done for him.
