Dan Greenburg took this one of my old Chevy last month. We were on the Reliability Run portion of the Hot Rod Hill Climb. Thanks again Dan.

Not on the "right" side of CT.. :( No colors to speak of, most types of trees went from green to then falling off, or green to brown. No acorns, but that is due to year two of Gypsy Moths going after Oaks first.

Out today near dusk. No vivid masses of colors.. Gray skies did not help.

^^^ Hey,... I'ma "field rep" . It was in the 70s today, lots of people out enjoying this day...and... I even saw another HOTROD this morning. A gray late 30s? Fat Fender, but not a Ford...I only saw the back of the roof & part of the trunk, as it went past my place.

Just driving around as usual.. A good time of year for junk-hunting in the outback.

  15. I planned on a little fall cruise today. But it's raining. They're not at peak yet anyway. But here is a few that I took yesterday. 20181101_141249.jpeg 20181101_141050.jpeg 20181101_165921.jpeg

There is a subliminal message coming from the rodders & kustom guys who post on threads like this one, and one other that tb33anda3rd started "Your car-your town".

We then have another reason to actually start looking for things that might interest others, and then we start to see things in our own locale that we simply missed all these years! ......the second reason, and much more important to me thing is that when we stop anywhere to grab a pic, we then meet hundreds and actually thousands of people per year....from all over the planet, talking about anything under the sun. I wish I had started doing this decades ago.

I've been studying on YouTube: "law of attraction", and "creating your own reality"...one mindset of these is that "When we look at things differently, things around us then change"....and... "Ever since our birth, we have only lived in the 'Now', not the past, nor future,..... so never let the beauty of each day slip past without noticing and enjoying it.

Nope, I wasn't worried about my open door on a corner on a country back road... :)

This is a fun thread - here are a few of mine - including a larger version of the one of @WZ JUNK's car up above. This sampling of pictures is from the 2018 Hot Rod Hill Climb here in Colorado
