This is a rare flyer promoting the very first race at the Charlotte Speedway board track October 25th 1924. Admission was 3.00 adults and 1.00 children. But the most surprising to me was the box seating. Really??? They were actually offering box seating in 1924?

 

Thanks to a heads-up from our friend Josh Shaw, did you realize we are creeping up on the 100th Anniversary of the first race at the Cincinnati Motor Speedway board track in 1916? Yes indeed-to hopefully jump-start this thread, I'll drop a few good pix of the Cincinnati track and ask the community if they have more to share.
