I am now part of the lucky yard sale find Club.. I always see it but never have been lucky enough untell Sunday to find some original un altered parts. They wanted 100.00 for both the Valve covers and the Manifold but I had a 50.00 bill in my pocket and it was Still there sitting in the back Late Sunday afternoon. This was a 3 Day sale. The valve covers have a 3/4" thick flange !! and are heavy as hell for valve covers . The Corvette manifold is un altered they just used the carb adapter instead of cutting the plenum as most guys did back then.
Nice. I think I'd clean that intake up real carefully and sell it off to a Corvette restorer, and I'd keep those valve covers for a hot rod project. Profitable AND free shit, can't go wrong.
GM design, oem intake for 1964/65 Corvette 350 and 365 hp 327's and 65 Chevelle 327/350 hp, 1966/67 used a nearly identical version on the 327/350 hp applications, the oil fill tube and thermostat housings were oriented differently.
