    It's funny that there were 2 versions of the L-78 396.... One was rated @ 425 hp and the other @ 375 hp..... I think GM just fudged the numbers on the 375 hp engine....

    The funniest part is, the earliest versions of the L-78's were rated at 450 Hp, until until GM issued a "campaign" to change the decals. Really makes you wonder what those engines were putting out for horsepower!
