Event Coverage Photos from the Excellent 2018 Bayou Round Up

My first trip to the Bayou Round Up in Lafayette, La was a lot of fun and there were a lot of cool cars, most of which I had not seen before. There were a lot of varied photo opportunities too presented by the cruise the day before, the gathering in downtown Lafayette the night before, the indoor and outdoor parts of the show itself and finally another cruise the day after. Like the other Kontinentals sponsorred show, the Lone Star Round Up, there was a ton of great music too. Lafayette also had a plethora of great food restaurants, food trucks, etc. So without further delay, here are the pictures.

This one, if the the wheels were changed to ones that are more traditional, would have been pretty much perfect. It had a very nice old school interior and flathead.

@El Jefe 's '51 Merc outside of Don's Steak and Seafood in downtown Lafayette during the party on the Friday night prior to the show. The area was blocked off for all the show cars. Great music and food too.

That 28 29 blue roadster on a Model A frame is early hot rodding at its best. The four door deuce is making me change my mind about mordoors.

One of my very favorite cars and, imho, one of the nicest Nomads ever owned by Mike Kellett who is a full time pro photographer
