    That is a very cool picture/photoshop, the Pan-Pacific Auditorium burned to the ground years before that Merc was customized.

    It's been about twenty five to thirty years now. I got it from him at Bloomsburg Nationals about 1992 I think. Don't regret one minute of it. I have had nothing but fun with this car from day one.

    Just picked up on this thread, one of the best ever.
    I think the 49, 50, 51 Merc's had the best styling of all stock styles through the 50's, and 60's and that includes the mor-doors as well.
