Definitely a ‘33. I was a teenager in ‘61 and used to hang out at Don’s Mobil station in Woodburn. Don’s ‘33 was always clean and ready to pull out onto 99E to prove a point to anyone brave enough to challenge him. Don now lives right across the road from the front gate of the strip. We have coffee together every weekday @ 10:00 at the local Burger King just off the Woodburn interchange. Feel free to stop by.

  9. Nathan's has been a staple on New York's Coney Island since 1916. Not sure if that pic is of the original location, but they have restaurants in a lot of areas and their hot dogs are sold in many grocery stores and buyers' clubs. Their original Coney Island location is also home to the annual 4th of July Hot Dog Eating Contest.

I like hot dogs and I like seafood, just thought they sounded odd on the same sign.
Isn't that the one where Joey Chestnut is the king hotdog eater?

Looks like Brisko is holding up one of his Zollner pistons. I believe Fred Zollner of Ft. Wayne, Indiana may have been involved with Brisko as well. Besides racing Mr. Zollner was also interested in basketball and founded the Ft. Wayne Zollner Pistons of the early NBA. The team later moved to Detroit and became the Detroit Pistons. I'm not sure but that might be Mr. Zollner standing on the right.
