Anyone have any pics of a light blue tub? I arrived late and it was leaving. I didn't get a close look at it. It could've been a homebuilt/ pheaton style body? Looked pretty cool, I'd like to check it out.
Glad someone got a CLEAN pic of the 999, I only saw the new brown.
    Great show AGAIN!!

Built, I think you are talking about my tub, I do not have any pics of it from the show. Maybe someone else does and will post them.

Hey, I talked to that guy. He made the body. He said he used muffler pipe and then sheeted it and did a skim layer of bondo and painted it. The interior was painted black and there was a fin line between the 2 colors. From 10 feet away it looks like a fiber glass body. And it uses 1970-1976 Porche 914 seats with the head rests cut off. It looked good.

    Your tub!? looks pretty cool!!

Any pics of the build / how you did it? Would make a great tech for those wanting to try making their own bodies!

I did not make the complete body. The cowl sides and doors skins are a Model A. I made the back end and the front of the cowl. If you search under my screen name you will see some build pics. And yes It was exhaust tubing around the top of the body, I think 2.5 or 3 inch I forget. Then I skinned the interior with sheet metal. So now it looks like a tub, ha, ha. And the reason I had to run the fan on the front was I needed both to cool the motor.

as far as the fan, i run a pretty hopped up 302 ford in my model a, if the timing is set right, it should never run above 180. 190 most.

I'd like to see it from a couple more angles. I'm not a bucket fan but yours looks well done and has a unique style. Very nice.
