Some nice inlines but Chevys in Chevys is extra cool.

The open road, the horse turds, the buggy sprung Hotrod with plenty of horsepower...and the beauty of the setting sun...whew...:D

Very Cool...33 that was a great read and of course a coincidence of odds all in good favor...I must commend you for hanging on to this exemplary Hotrod or is it Street Rod......:D...for all these years and exhibiting restraint in upgrading the package with the evolution till now...You are too few in my opinion...

Ian Roussel is probably my favorite "new" builder with a TV show. He's friends with Gene Winfield. If you haven't checked his work out, look for his show, Full Custom Garage, it's mostly him, a few buddies, simple tools, and his dog. I am a big fan of the guy's work and fearless approach to having fun with what he does.

This is the original incarnation of the Space Junkie, which he decided to re-make into that bubble top recently.

Another wild one he did recently, "The Cartoon Hot Rod" is a bit more elusive on image searches but you can see video of it on YouTube and the Full Custom Garage site. It is based on illustration by Johnny Jalopy, if I remember correctly.

I don't catch much TV or magazine wise but thanks Pat for the info and links on this talented builder. He has a style all his own. I thought the Bubbletop had a 60's twang to it. The VW also has a vintage Zinger type look to it as well. He really has a respect for vintage Custom/Hotrod which is evident in his modern inspired creations.

Hi Frank, I'm glad these pics brought back some fond memories. You and your brother should gather up your vintage Hotrod/Custom pics and get them on here if you have any...its a great place to share and preserve history...;)

Frank no problem, the fact that your involved in the the Vintage Hotrod/Custom scene is just great and it gives you fellas some quality time together to talk Hotrods...at the very least.

Jalopy did you see that in person? Nice Pic...;)...It's great to see the wild sixties in a newly built Hotrod, and from the other side of the world to boot...

    "Bookem Danno"...:D

It's interesting the shock towers are just plain Jane welded plate with metal angle lower mounts and not the F1 style...cut down 50s bumper up front...missing teeth, balding tires...love it...
