I maintain a 57 Star Chief convertible for my partner, she's owned it for 40 plus years. Only fair to tell you, it's not original / stock, I can get pix / numbers if you like. It's her daily driver.

My 57 Chieftain. Currently replacing the 347 and jetaway trans with a 59, 389 stroked to 453 inches and B&M Hydro.

The Seattle area CraigsList has a beautiful 1957 Pontiac Safari Wagon listed (it's actually in British Columbia, Canada). Maybe someone can post a photo or link, since I don't have that ability? They are nice cars! I am Butch/56sedandelivery.
Body numbers? I am told this was a July '57 build. Yeh, it's sort of "special". Any of you have a restorable dash pad?
By the numbers I saw there were a little over 300,000 manufactured and there is a Pontiac registry that should give you how many may be left..
I got to meet the guy from the Pontiac Registry . but I like to try and find my own, maybe one no one knows about, I love the hunt trying to track them down
