Wow! Thanks for sharing some great shots, especially for the ones of this exceptionally beautiful 55 with its one solid color that looks 10 times better than the two tone with a color like that.
That blue '55 really caught my eye too, even with a 6 in it. This is the only additional picture I took. Pretty much the same as the other one, but without the photo bomb guy.
We left home a 2am Wed. so we could get in a full day as we knew Thursday was going to rain. Had a great day Wed, no so much Thursday but we stayed all day and done what we could between rain drops. It is hard to have a bad time at Hershey, even in the rain! I took a bunch of pictures but it seems most would be duplicate of the ones already shown. Here are a few different ones.
Thanks @40LUV for your coverage of this Chocolatey stellar classic event. Additional thanks to the others for the additional coverage...
Thankyou for taking the time to photograph and present all those wonderful images here. Geoff aka whodaky
Thanks for the great pics ,felt like I saw all I missed on Friday .Heck! After looking at all those great pics my feet were tired !
@MalloMike and i left connecticut at 3 am wednesday, stopped for breakfast and was on the field before 8. walked all day, lots of chevy parts to see! we chatted with old friends @Bowtie Coupe /Wayne and Mike. it was great to see them again. we met @Fedcospeed for the first time and was able to spend some time with @noboD /Doug and Bob @The37Kid , @ronnieroadster, mark @ct1932ford and @GregCT. we walked the car corral after hours and then smoked a cigar with @Flop while talking fishing and diving. thursday mike and i walked in the rain looking for open spots. i did find a nos fender for my coupe. despite going home after only two days i think it was one of the best hershey trips ever.
Seeing the swap meet through the eyes of a 6 year old was really special this year. The wheeler dealer started a hub cap and license plate collection all on his own. We didn't cover the entire swap meet, and I'm sure I missed a few friends but all in all it was a great time. My 50th in a row next year, think that calls for a cake. Bob
Hi bob, I looked you up Thursday between rains, you were going to buy me an ice cream for my birthday but you had already packed up and headed out. Your swap meet neighbors (the ones with the Ardun heads) said you were a big sissy and were afraid you would melt lol Hope to catch you next year.
The Cord guy was right down the row from our spaces. I would guess GAI-5, or thereabouts. He backs to the car corral and is near the bank of portable toilets- in the northwest corner of the Green Field. I would look him up in the program, but it hasn’t been found since we got home Saturday.
