the problem is if you went back in time you would have to get a job making $2.00 an hour to buy it, or find a bunch of pre 1964 money here and bring it with you to buy it. if you handed the owner a stack of 2018 100.00 bills the FBI would come and get you. then you have to have a way to bring it back with you.. what if the car was still around in 2018?. then what happens? time travel is not as easy as it seems.
I did and they're still for sale, however, adjusted for inflation that $1,750 is now $55,600. Who wants it ?!?!?
That quadded coupe is fricken awesome...that is a treatment I have never seen before...the others are cool to but yeah I like the Different Deuce...thanks @383stroker
Someone else started a post I saw today here about Mecum auction in Harrisburg recently and how inexpensive lots of cars are. So if you have $25-$50k cash laying around it's a buyers market. You can get something now that will be better equipped (motor, brakes, etc.) than what was available back then.
Either of those Deuces as posted would pull heavy coin today IF they were in the 63 configuration as they were in the condition as shown...just my opinion of course. If I had to buy from Mecum and either of those Deuces were there as I describe that would be my target for the night...
I do agree. Aside from buying a real deuce body and maybe select other parts, most traditional parts are actually more affordable to the common man today. Edelbrock multiple carb manifolds set you back as much as 90 bucks back then Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
