Hands down the M/T is my favorite BBC valve cover!

  3. It's the squared off shape, the girth makes 'em look so massive.
The 426 HEMI versions are to absolutely slay for.

    But that's another thread.....

  4. Out main man @enloe has the market cornered on the BBC's!

I know that in some circles the gold anodized covers that Moroso sold in the 70's were quite popular but I just want to turn my head away whenever I see an engine with them.

OK you's guys move over for a 425 nail head. Kenny Bell cam is all it took to wake it up. This is a '66 factory (dealer installed) dual quad in a Rivi GS. Not mine anymore though. Sold the car to complete the avatar car. 100_1159.jpg

  18. It never occurred to me until looking at this thread that I’ve unknowingly collected a herd of big blocks!

    Original ‘66 Catalina 421 tri-power in my ‘64 GTO

454 in my ‘37. I’ve got a set of MT valve covers like above, but I actually prefer the Weiand covers.

427 in my phantom ‘66 SS427 Chevelle 2 Door post. GM never built it, but they should have!

  19. LB is balancing out the thread nicely, with some serious Ford artillery!
    Previously, we were Chevy heavy.
