    I also met Harold at Juggers meetings. Perhaps they both crashed the car. Joe has a nice set of pictures of the car going over. Trunk open, left door open, Hood open. Right door open. And finally the car on it's wheels everything closed. Then Joe getting out of the car. Pretty cool. I believe that is the car that got Joe in the 2 club.

    This is the old (Gene) Cable in Independence, MO. It s now Cable-Dahmer Chevrolet in the same location but much bigger.

    Looks like he's running an old 1947 tag, during WWII all the tags were aluminum with a "V" for victory.

    Have you tried looking in the Oakland Tribune Archive small ads?
    Here's the link:
    https://newspaperarchive.com/oakland-tribune-oct-26-1968-p-21/
    It lets you view about 10 pages or so before asking you to subscribe. I just got to the Automobile section when my free search ran out!!
    You might have better luck.
