  1. Great pair of faucets Larry. I took a boat load of pics too. Here's a few I don't think I've posted yet. I LOVE HERSHEY! 20181011_163711.jpeg 20181011_163527.jpeg 20181011_163557.jpeg 20181011_163855.jpeg 20181011_163323.jpeg 20181011_163109.jpeg

It does seam odd sitting here at home and not doing the Friday loading, and planning what to do Saturday. We left the field on Friday last year and missed the show for the first time, so I can see the traditional Hershey visit is changing for me. As soon as I started walking around Tuesday is felt like I'd been there the day before, that has a lot to do with the same vendors in the same spots. I wonder how many of the items in the featured photos have new homes now, some of my leftovers made it to the town dump, and that was a good thing.;) Bob

  8. Thanks for the pics, gents, as I didn't get around too much since I was vending this year. As for the rain Thursday, Gabby and I were open all day, one of the few in the orange field, and had a very good day despite the downpours. As for today, Friday - it WAS a great day for vendors I think - loads of people and from what I hear, you could hardly walk in the Chocolate fields they were so loaded with buyers. Things died down around 4 pm for us but the end result was very little left for us to take home. For Gabby and I, a really good Hershey ...

Thanks heaps to all who posted pics. After spending 4 full days there last year it was great to see pics from this year and see what I missed, which was lots.

IMG_20181009_150459.jpg Our setup in North Chocolate on Tuesday afternoon. Looks like I got another guy checking out my model A "doodlebug"! Warm and humid Tuesday and Wednesday, Rain all day Thursday but we had tents up and stayed open. Wind blew hard Thursday night and took out some tents that weren't nachored well enough. Great day with lots of business Friday. Loaded up up in a drizzling rain this morning, picked up my new '32 chassis from Brookville Roadster and headed home. Altogether another great week at Hershey!! IMG_20181009_150459.jpg

When our girls were little Hershey Park was open on Sunday, and we would go on all the rides that were open. The old carrousel played music as the wooden horses sailed around. I'll never get that carrousel music out of my head, to me it is the saddest music I can remember, you could still hear it as you got in the car to go home, the official sound, Hershey was over until next year.
