Getting ready to put my coupe body back together. It had a rumble but I want a trunk lid. I got a trunk back piece and removed the curved rumble piece but just don't know exactly how it fits. Also I have another stiffener piece that is shorter than the one in the car. It looks like the one in the car is correct?? Anyone got advice?

the extra part looks like the inner support structure for the panel below the decklid...[shorter ?]
if you are not going to use the stock trunk hinges try '36 trunkback sedan or '37 flatback hinges...
    pix if needed.

What you're doing looks correct so far.
The shorter one is for a 28-29 coupe. I think the horizontal part of it should be the same as your 30 though.
