Here's another one of mine ...behind the wheel of my old 50 Chevy shorty hippie bus headed down 101 on the Oregon coast ...Road trip in with friends...the nut is the one taking the picture....he was out the door stretched across the fender and resting on the hood with the camera taking the picture while the bus is doing about 45-50 mph , it had a 270 Jimmy in it then , crazy daze...... Taken a long time ago with a Vivitar 400/SL 35mm SLR camera. Driving a 53 Ford pickup at the time, with just a bit of the road reflected in my glasses. "Selfies" were tough to do back then, and you didn't know if they turned out OK until you got the film developed.

And a few years later, I think driving a "too new for the HAMB C10".

PA130451.JPG When a friend stops at your Hershey swap meet spot and gets out of his T head MERCER and asks you to drive it over to his swap meet space you don't take much time getting behind the wheel. Bob

  28. Whale....in his answer to me driving my 64 SS up to Kansas in the mid 70's my dad said well let's take my 2+2 up there (see)...since we would caravan back I said let's go....this is on the way back....stock old 289 was humming about 60mph I think...I dare not go over...the 2+2 would be stolen from him in the early 80's and again in the late 80's after it became mine. It was original paint save the front grille stuff. dad and me and Stang 2.jpg dad and me and Stang 3.jpg
