47 and 37 017.JPG Recently purchased a 37 Ford cabriolet. There is no interior. I want to buy a top but there are 2 tops listed. There is a 2 passenger and a 5 passenger. Is there a measurement so as to tell for certain what one I have? It looks like there could be room for a rear seat but it would be tight.

Not glass it's all steel. the chassis is done 2 1/2 chop. Get the right top next, small block Ford etc.

  10. I’m down in St. Louis right now, not back until next Thursday. I’ll see if one of my kids can measure. What measurements would you like.
Edit: Just reread your post #6. I’ll see if I can get that for you. You definitely have the longer top though. If you look at mine the top ends more or less even with the front of the rear fender, your top opening goes much further into the rear fender.

Mine is Henry Ford as well, but was shaved years ago (it looks plastic to me because of that). I’m in the process of putting some hair back on it. lol
New hood sides (the original had had the vents cut out of them) and trim was the first order of business.

Will be reinstalling grille trim and door handles this winter. The car currently has poppers.
The reason I asked the fiberglass question is because of the rear bumper mount treatment and the way the front and rear fenders mount. I don’t think those horizontal lower joints/seams on the fenders are factory.......... unless a 5 seat cabriolet is that different.

Here’s the only photos I have down here of the top length behind the door and the tail section.

Look forward to watching your thread.

  11. I guess I did have another photo. You can see here what I’m talking about where my top ends vs. on your car. Yours is definitely the longer top.
