Its going to be placed on the left Side, and lean towards the Butterfly MG_20180822_125402.jpg lean towards the Butterfly MG_20180822_220453.jpg made a bracket to hold shifter MG_20180827_165014.jpg and made a weld on bracket for the rail MG_20180827_183619.jpg and here it is, need a friend to weld when I sit in right position. Same with brakehandle and foot pedals

Im building a tube with the padals installed. Then I can weld the tube in the rail IMG_20180918_163538.jpg then I use the tube between pedals, to make a support for the tail in gearbox.
IMG_20180918_163547.jpg just need to check the angle on foot, to weld the pieces correct for me.
Hey, by the way, I have seen transbrake with a pedal, can you teach me on this. It would be fun having that on the left foot , if it works?

If it has a pro tree brake, you have to operate the trans brake to go in reverse.
You could mount your micro switch under the left pedal, but you have to make sure your not resting your foot on it a accidentally operating it when you shouldn't.

Leave off the hand brake and TB is for backing up, lots of amp draw if using a battery to back up, if the battery is low, the TB will not hold on the line for very long. I dont like leaving off of it because its holding the car and all the slop in the driveline crashes together at the hit, off the handbrake, everything is loaded in compression and the transfer of power is smooth

Yes, its a unhealthy crash everytime takeoff ..
Hum, anyways, Ill make the left foot just like the right foot pedal (moveable) but make a bracket to make the left pedal solid. And if changing plans, its easy to have it loose. I think drums in rear is better to hold back before takeoff?

Yess because they have more surface area, but because they have more surface ares they heat up and fade when and where you need them the most. Drums are fine in the rear when they are assisting the front brakes

    Some advice needed..
Im going to build mounts for the chute, and need to make Mount for the big force when braking. Now, where to connect the lower bracket, so it not lift the back of the dragster. Is there big No No ?

anyplace between your butt and just below your shoulder blades will work . just get your belts tite and get used to using it. the first time the bounce happens youll be glad you did. 1/2 bolts on the tether. when the bounce happens stay off the brakes

Not trying to be a know it all. just don't want to see anyone hurt. the bounce is caused by rough track or backing out of the throttle to quickly. what happens is the tires collapse and then rebound so if your on the brakes the tires will stop while in the air increasing the reaction. it will put pinch marks in your jockey shorts the first time. I know from personal experience. this happens on solid mounted rear end cars. pull the chutes and ride it out. I`ve had it happen on 9 sec cars and 6 sec cars. good luck have fun and strap that rear center section even on a 9 in rear
