Folks Of Interest Notable legends that owned cool cars

I don't believe this was actually built for Liberace. It was built by Craig Smith and named the Liberace but I can't find where it was actually owned by him.
It is currently for sale.

I sold him that woodie, and was given 2nd row seats to his concert in Boston. Four hours straight, and the best concert I've ever attended.

 

Yep, Craig Smith built that cart here in Phoenix about 10 years ago, Liberace was long gone dead. Craig entered the car in the GNRS that year and won an award, then sold the car soon after. The name of the car was "The Liberace". The whole Liberace / Barris backstory is all just a made up goof.

 

Also Liberace died in 1987, definitely a newer build than that.

It stands to reason, as I can't see Liberace behind the wheel of anything so conservative!
