OK, I'll play. I posted this* earlier on another thread, but here's (one of) mine and as I probably have mentioned somewhere here before, it wasn't my primary choice for this car.

It was essentially given to me by a friend who must've had more sense than I at the time I was building the car 30 years ago. I had overly ambitious plans for way more interesting power plant, but he offered this "to use until your get your real engine done".

Well, 30 years later, I'm not any closer to achive my first choice and probably never will be. OTOH, this one has provided ample amount (30K+ miles ?) of pleasure and will likely stay in as long as I own the car, although I'm somewhat attempted to pull, disassemble and reseal it sometime in the near(?) future. Or not.

No glitz or glitter on this one, just the basics, which are enough for me and since I've never believed they could offer better fuel economy, handling or performance advantage for my kind of driving nor do I think they would match the cars old(er) school/vintage style, I didn't see a point to pursue any.
