Ok , need help on these lights as the lenses say Lucas and they are glass . Thinking about to put them on my 34 Ford Phaeton rear fenders as they fit the contour just about perfect . So being glass that makes them pre 50 or older as the red lens is held in by the stainless trim ring and the rubber holds that in . As the base is cast aluminum seems to be. Any help very much appreciated
Hi Jeff J-I have no idea what they are off, but the Lucas branding is usually a good indication that they are of English origin ,if that , s of any help...... Ash
Ah yes.. Lucas prince of darkness. The butt of many English car jokes. Why do the English drink their beer warm? Cause Lucas makes their refrigerators too. Oh by the way, I'm thinking early 1950's Triumph Mayfair lights.

I think the tail light itself, not the housing it is mounted in, is a standard Lucas part and appears the same as used on the Mayflower pictured above. The lamp you have may be the most useful part of the assembly and could probably be matched up much easier without concern for the housing, should you want to use just the lamps. Ray
Thanks ,went on there site and they say Moris Minor And the best parts are available so that makes it a little nicer to be able to replace if some thing happens to it , Thanks Again 1
