Event Coverage Meet and Greet at Iron Invasion

Hey ya'll
DW was texting me the other day suggesting that we have a meet and greet at the Iron Invasion. Its been a while.
I figured the parking area north of the barns and northwest of the newer big vendor building. Its near portapotties and sort of high in elevation. I
I will bring some beers and snacks. Look for a czar car.

 

MIKE, long time no see.

 

I'm in,...where ya wanna meet?...what time?...how bout at the north end of the bleachers where the bands play?...I'll try to make it but I'm workin the swapmeet,...should be free there by 10AM or after...on Saturday....should be lots of guys/gals show up,......I could make a sign and place it on Friday as I'll be there from noon -on on Friday,...let me know.

 

how about 1:00 in the northwest parking area.

What a great idea! I don't think I've been to a HAMB meet & greet since the last 100 Car Pile up at Morris! I think I've been a few places where they have had them but missed them for some reason.

For those of us directional challenged, the northwest parking lot is on the opposite end of the grounds and to the right of where the show cars enter the grounds, correct? Gene

 

...as you pull in thru the second gate, it's about strate ahead.

 

That sounds like the north east part of the fairgrounds.

...when you pull into the 2nd gate at the fairgrounds you are aiming northwest...the first gate lets you into the driveway/staging area where you are aiming north,...just put up some damn signs...

 

mike, can you leave a trail of bread crumbs?

 

I'm there ...But please sign the the spot..... I am soooo confused...The last Back to the 50's meet and greet I was really lost...Looked for days .

 

...here's a map of the fairgrounds,..the angled road at the upper right (under the entertainment tent) comes from the second gate, that road runs towards the northwest,..if you continue in that direction, you'll end up in the northwest corner of the fairgrounds.

 

I'll just look for your truck Sam!

 

I will try to make it over there. I plan on attending.

I'll try and step away for a few minutes from the booth and catch up with some of you knuckleheads!! Been way too long!

 

Change in plans... so much water we will have it at where the vagabonds are.
