Great batch of shots of the front motor cars, especially the color shots. Don't recall seeing these pics before. I'd forgotten about Jeb Allen racing back in that era.

Bob Rounthwaite and Tom McLaughlin, at Saugus. They were both members of the Glendale Coupe and Roadster Club, and ran this GMC 6 in a borrowed track roadster. Tom's nickname was "Acmo," because he used Acme beer cans for carb tubes.

Jack Chrisman at Santa Ana, in this almost stock '29 sedan. It first ran a fuel flathead, then an injected Chrysler. Note the grille insert, Von Dutch's work.
