  13. I know this is an old posting, but I know the K&L truck. In 1959 or 60, my friend in Vernon owned this truck at the same time as I was working on my 34 Ford. Sometime after I left Vernon for Vancouver, he sold it to another friend, who moved it to Calgary, where it was set up to race. Keith and (Lloyd, not positive of the name) employed my buddy Buggsie Garrow, who drove the truck. They primarily raced in Western Canada.
The hemi was eventually stuffed into a dragster chassis, and it raced for years. There is a story of the history of the truck in one of the Canadian Hot Rodding Magazines, but I don't know the issue.
I was a regular in their shop back in the 60s, but I was working in another province, and not involved in the operation of the truck. I just took part in consuming the beer, and other mandatory social activities.
It is great to see the old beast again.

  26. I am surprised I haven't came across this thread before as 32-34 Pickups are my favorite Ford pick ups.
