Anyone planning on going to Cruis’n the Coast starting September 30 through October 7 in Biloxi Mississippi?
I'll be dropping in on thursday. I have a brother in law in Biloxi and one in GP. used to be a meet and greet along hwy 90 in GP. Does that still happen?
Where is the actual event hosted from? I know it’s all up and down the coast. I have known about this run but have never been. I have a motor home any advise as the best place to camp and be in the middle of it ? Thanks guys! Sent from my iPad using H.A.M.B.
Well Cruise Central where the main venue is at is in Gulfport at the old veterans home site. Unfortunately if you don’t have a reservation at one of the RV Campgrounds you are probably out of luck unless you stay at a campground well away from the event. Most of the campsite reservations are made a year in advance. Even though there are a ton of RV’s parked along the road in vacant lots most of those are on private property with arrangements made in advance. Treasure Bay Casino offers some RV parking with no hook ups you might call them. Even with all the casinos hotel rooms and other chain hotels finding a room Is tough and most have minimum day rules.
I go every year in our other cars, hoping first time this year w/my 36, pray for cooler dry weather, its been wet down here almost daily. Link to event in my sig! All of the info posted above my post by Pirate is correct, most hotel and campgrounds are already NO Vacancy, this is a MASSIVE event, 7-8000 registered cars NOT including the ones that just "show up". And FWIW, Dennis Gage will not be at this event this year, heard Courtney Hansen will and the people from the show Vegas Rat Rods, FWIW
We will be there! Planning on leaving Ct. Thursday morning! Staying at the IP Casino with the road tour ! Driving the 30 chevy panel truck this year!

Had to venture out on the interstate today and the hot rods are already inbound headed to CTC, first events starts Today! (Saturday 9/29!)

Headed back today, hitting the swap meet first then more pics and possible the meet up tonite, heard after we left last night they made both 2 lanes of traffic going in both directions on hwy 90 into ONE working lane, WTF? Hope that isn't true!

So what they did IS, fix it so you can not change lanes in the congested areas, seems to work ok, still two lanes but no lane changes, was supposed to meet up with the other HAMB'ers but we could not make it, I think they posted about this in the other CTC thread, took another 300 pics, very hot today, surprised to see a lot of folks already towing cars out of town headed back home, suspect they were here since last Friday?
